Git or SVN for a Rails application?

Which version control system should be used for a Rails application: Git or SVN?

Here are some factors to consider:

  • I am the only developer
  • I am familiar with SVN
  • I only used Git for a week, it looks like SVN actually.
  • I want to place my repository in a remote place and connect to it via SSH or another protocol (which I already do with SVN).

Edit: Thanks for the answers so far. Git seems to be a bit more favored. Does it have any SSH features?
