Display size, type and brightness for healthy development

If you look at the monitor for 8-12 hours a day, looking at the code, I have a couple of questions for those who may have examined the health factors of this or tried several options.

  • To be light on the eyes, can the monitor be too big?
  • Is there a certain type of display technology over another that reduces eye fatigue?
  • How bright should your display be in relation to your environment? Is it not less tired to have a bright environment and a bright monitor in a darker environment?

The app f.luxcan really help at night if you encode a bright background. This reduces the blue color on the screen and thus the eye strain. Change the setting to 1 hour instead of the default 20 seconds, and you won't even notice it.
