Open the Zeroconf / Bonjour nodes?

Is there an easy way to scan this network for Bonjour / Zeroconf services?

I have a set of computers (Linux, Windows, Apple) and would like to automatically generate a list of all available network nodes supporting Zeroconf on my Intranet.

I have not used it, but you can take a look at the Mono Project Zeroconf library .

It looks like they have a query tool mzclientthat can help you.

If nothing else, you should be able to create something in C # using this library.

@EdH, thanks for the message. I voted for it. I haven't tried Mono.Zeroconf yet, but I'm sure it will work as Bonjour / Zeroconf has changed a lot over the last couple of years. I am only looking for basic functions, such as publishing and opening services. Mzclient seems like a good place to start. I dug out the git location for the source: mzclient on github . Hope this helps others looking for a similar solution :-)
