We are currently completing the database change management process. We are launching MySql 5 running on RedHat 5. I chose LiquiBase as a tool because it is open source and allows us to extend its functionality later if necessary. He also seems to be one of the few free projects that are still active. Has anyone here had experience using LiquiBase or other Db version control tools?
Company History: We are a SaaS company providing a 7/24 hosted application. There are dozens of instances working with different versions of the same database, and we need a way to manage the deployment process as it starts to get out of hand. Databases contain hundreds of tables, and we usually issue them every 3 months.
