Discrete event modeling engine for .NET.

Does anyone have experience with some discrete event modeling library that can be used in .NET (C #)?

Despite the basic functions for queuing and dispatching events, it would be nice to have some non-deterministic behavior (such as simulating failures).

I have some tips, and I'm even considering writing my own, but first I would like to get some recommendations.

Thanks.

Additional information: I don’t look explicitly for a free product, however prize-winning things :) To accurately determine the field that I need to display, here is a product example: http://www.holushko.com/index.html

There are quite a lot of sellers of simulation-based products, but they need money, and usually a lot. For example, http://www.solver.com/exceluse.htm as one of many) is one of the excel-based ones, but they also provide SDKs.

When I looked at - COIN - OR - COmputational INfrastructure for Operations Research, there was no dedicated event modeling system for their projects. This site is a site for operational research in which they participate, and since the simulation falls under the OR, I looked there.

I think I had a review of Simulation packages somewhere in print, but they were all paid for products, so in your case this may not be an option.

You can try MicroSaint. It is expensive, but very capable. I used an earlier version for a very serious business analysis project. Link follows http://www.maad.com/index.pl/micro_saint
