ATL Simple Object Wizard - Error "Object Xxx already exists"

I am trying to create a new COM object in my DLL using the ATL Simple Object Wizard in Visual Studio 2005.

I enter a short name for the object, and all other fields are displayed.

However, when I click "Next" in the wizard, the following error message appears:

Object 'IXxxInterfaceName' already exists

I searched all my solution for all IXxxInterfaceName references and can't see it anywhere.

How does a master determine that it already exists?

Also happens in VS 2008. However, the Clean and Clean project from build solution solves the following :-)
