In one of our systems using Reporting Services 2005, the client requests watermarked reports to ensure that the reports printed by the client and sent (example: a contract document generated by the system but then signed and mailed) are genuine.
I could not find a clear way to do this. If anyone has suggestions on how to make a light image watermark in a report, it would be very helpful.
I decided to solve this by creating a very dim version of the photo that I wanted, making it the same size as the entire sheet of paper in terms of size, and then setting it as the background image in my report. Not perfect, but good.
