I am trying to follow the manual http://ttlnews.blogspot.com/2009/01/setting-up-amazon-ami-with-java-and.html but cannot find the Java Web Starter AMI (ami-1c54b075) when searching for AMI in the AWS console. Anyone now, why could this be? This seems to be one of the most popular AMIs ( see InfoBox on the right side ), so it seems strange that I cannot find it ...
See this forum post . AMI was probably updated and the identifier changed. Perhaps the ami-45e7002c is a newer version.
