Is there a modern replacement for transactions and federated capabilities from Enterprise Services?

I am using ServicedComponent from EnterpriseServices AKA Com + for

  • Distributed Transactions
  • Simple transaction programming using attributes
  • Merging Objects

Things I miss in com +

  • No dll version
  • Pain in gac and reg with every change in component
  • Attach debugger

I know that WCF solves some of the same problems as COM +. But does all of them solve? Can someone point me in the right direction?

thanks
