NSInvalidArgumentException

I get crash from this procedure after adding the sender: (id) so that I can determine which button called it. When configured as a plain old toggleView3, it works great. A crash occurs when the detailView switches back to the docView.

You send a message toggleView3when the correct selector name toggleView3:- that is, with a colon and an argument. They may look like you, but they are completely different methods for Objective-C.
