Android MediaPlayer Cookie URL

Question

I have an Android application that plays music from a site, however, for authentication in the stream you need to send an IE cookie first:

http://example.com/site/content?id=SOMEID = mp3 formatted stream

If you access the URL without a cookie, you will receive a Server 500 error. If you have a cookie, you will receive a stream.

In my life, I can't figure out how to get the media player to play the URL when sending the cookie.

I can reproduce any URL that does not require a cookie.
