Do you lose functionality when hosting ASP.NET MVC on IIS 6? If yes, then?

As a development team, we strive to upgrade to asp.net MVC, and I heard rumors that IIS 6 cannot support all the features of MVC. It's true? Is there any official feature set in IIS 7 and IIS 6? Should we completely avoid running it on IIS6?

You do not lose the functionality of ASP.Net MVC; however, you have one of two options. You can define the extension of your URL, which allows you to customize the mapping. For example:

www.example.com/books/computer/list

can be:

www.example.com/books.mvc/computer/list

, , ASP.Net. .aspx, , IIS URL- .

, , - . ASP.Net. , . , . , , , , wild card, .

, IIS6 - URL-, , ISAPI IIS.

, . IIS7 , , . ASP.NET MVC 1.0 Windows Server 2003/IIS6.
