SVN Default Folders - Should They Be Used?

I saw repositories in SVN that, at least, did not create a local folder of connecting lines, branches, and tags on the client. So these are the default folders needed for use with SVN (I use a turtle) or what? I don’t understand why some people have folders, but some of them are not used in some repository implementations.

As others have said, connecting lines / branches / tags are not required. These folders do not really matter for subversion, it's just the best practice that you can use if it suits your needs.

TortoiseSVN, : , /tags . , ( ).

( ):

, "trunk", "branch" "tags" . (, ) :

  • trunk, .
  • () / (, , 1.0, 1.1, 2.0).
  • , . 2, 1.0 ( 1.0 ).

( , , ) "" . , - ( , , "/tags/1.0", ).

TortoiseSVN , , ( , ).

This does not answer your question (others already exist), but if you want only a torso, just indicate when you are doing the initial reception / check.
