How to integrate component help files into Delphi system?

How do you integrate component help files into the Delphi 2006 help system so that help is available by pressing F1. Help files are in hlp and chm format.

No. Delphi 2006 uses HTML Help 2 (like D2007 and D2009), so the IDE does not know HTML 1 help files.

You can create the Tools menu item in the IDE to launch the CHM help file and then search or create a shortcut on the desktop. However, none of them will give you F1 context-sensitive help.
