Recommended articles / articles on the craft of programming

My intention here is to have one thread in the style of articles or articles made differently for the reader. indeed blog posts that the writer put a lot of effort into driving over ( anything that takes less than a day to read ). I don’t have time to dig giant information crypts on the Internet (most of the time), so if we help each other by placing beacons on good material, we can all save time.

Required

  • affect (or at least you so that you study) your perspective / forecast on programming.
  • agnostic technology (does not apply only to a specific community of programmers).
  • will not be a plugin for a new architecture, product or methodology.
  • not tied to a specific role that supports programming. (How to make better specifications / ux / etc.).
  • doesn't make my brain sick . Define an intermediate and extended audience, without allowing the reader to be a master of mathematics / calculus.

I see that we already have. What are the best programming articles? ', and there is a certain amount of overlap (at least from the first page) _ I cannot find words to formulate the difference that I want to convey. I think the focus here is on the β€œcraft” aspect.
I hope that people will find this idea useful and contribute to it .. or it has voted / closed and has not added noise.

Dijkstra archives fire me. Most of them are short and can be read in less than an hour. The beauty is that many of them will take the rest of their natural lives to truly understand. :)
