How do you have folds for a LaTeX file in XEmacs?

I want to have automatic creases for comments in my AquaEmacs.

You cannot have similar folds, as in Vim. I could not put folds in certain lines.

However, there is an Auctex addon that gives you Emacs-folds. They are not as flexible as in Vim.

Please let me know if you find the best solution.

take a look hs-minor-mode. it's not automatic though. for a more automatic approach, I think you could adjust the view mode as:

• hide comments through hs-hide-comments-when-hiding-all
• , hs-hide-all-non-comment-function,
• hs-hide-all, .
