Compiling Java Bytecode

Question

Using javap, I can parse the java class into byte code. If I want to run this bytecode or a modified version, how do I do this? Please spare me the “don’t worry” answer as I do this for educational reasons. I googled and looked at other questions, but could not find the answer.

Perhaps Jasmin is what you are looking for.

You can use the jasper / jasmin command

• jasper for disassembling in jasmin compatible format
• jasmin which will collect jasper output

java disassemble reassemble.
