About the Microsoft AJAX Update Update Panel?

as you all know, the update panel sends the same response to the server as the full post (or maybe I misunderstand), it is true that it is much better than the full post.

is there an alternative to send only response data? for example, you have a method that does not tolerate the date, I think that this is the only thing that needs to be sent, and not the full state of the control view that will show it (maybe I misunderstood it).

I use Telerik AJAX controls and they are built on Microsoft AJAX, so there are not many improvements.

one approach that I like is http://www.coolite.com/ , they have AJAX methods and events, which I think are what I am looking for, but the project is moving slowly and does not have the flexibility for my requirements .

That's why I recommend programmers new to AJAX to learn the basics before adopting the library - when you understand what is really happening, such an optimization becomes obvious.
