Is there a difference between __typeof and typeof?

There are more operators that work when we add __ to them. what does __ mean?

An identifier with double underscores is reserved for implementation. typeof is a compiler-specific language extension, therefore its name __typeof does not guarantee that the user code has an identifier with the same name
