Windows Certificate Store

Where can I find the location of the Windows certificate store on my hard drive for server 2003. I am coding a C # utility for managing several certificates that we use to notify when they expire. Therefore, I choose to store them in the Windows certificate store. Instead of using any existing location (private ...) that I see in the MMC, I would like to create another location with my application name and location (for example: "c: \ certs") of my choice so that I can come back up.

I strongly suspect that you do not need to create your own location. Do you have a good reason for his desire? Windows has APIs for managing certificates, and I would suggest exploring them. I am sure that you can do all reasonable things, although a public API. If you use the system storage APIs, you will probably have to write less code and your resulting solution will be more secure, better integrated with the OS (and all OTHER tools created for working with certificates on windows).
