SQL Server 2008 - Moving From Choice to Editing Fast

In the server management studio 2008, you can right-click on the table, and then click on the first 1000 rows. Is there a button or a quick way to edit one of the returned rows instead of right-clicking on the table again and clicking on the first 200 rows.

This is how I usually say this:

  • Right-click on the table and select "Edit Top 200 Rows"

  • Right-click anywhere in the results, go to panel → SQL

You will see a SELECT statement starting with

SELECT TOP(200) .....

"200" WHERE .

SQL Server 2008 Management Studio , 200 1000 , SQL Server.

"Edit Top 200 Rows" "Select Top 1000 Rows", :

1. SQL Server 2008 Management Studio "" → "" → " SQL Server" → "".

2. " " : ◦ Edit TopRows, 200. ◦ Select TopRows, 1000.

3. If set to 0, SQL Server will return all rows. (If the sql tables are really large, you definitely don't need to set these values to 0.

4. Click OK to save the changes.
