.NET Query Builder Component

Question

Can anyone recommend a free .NET library that allows you to create a SQL Query constructor for your users in a Windows forms application? I would like my users to be able to run relatively direct SELECT statements, including some JOINS operations and other multi-table operations, without going into real nitty-gritty SQL.

Report Builder is part of Reporting Services SQL Server, and it allows you to do all this and more. You can also configure data sources other than MSSQL. We have non-developers who constantly use it to create reports with associations, groupings, etc. Without SQL code.

The license is included in the SQL Server team and above. I do not know if this "free" is enough for you.

You can use the Aspose.Report component AdHoc.WinForms (it is not free). It does not require starting an SQL server, works fine with several tables, and also has the ability to make automatic table joins.
