I need to create a map in order to cataport content.
For example, in the topic "Art" there may be subcategories "History of Art", "Painting", "Sculpture", etc. etc.
I scanned several online resources, but I ran into a problem related to how I want to use the hierarchy.
I have a lot of content that I want to index by topic. Therefore, to give the above example, if the user searches for “Art”, then they will receive not only what “Art” mentions, but also everything that “Painting” mentions, even if it does not mention “Art”. Fair enough.
But if in another part of my hierarchy I have a “Home Maintenance”, for example, then this may also have a sub-theme “Painting”.
But then, if a user searches for “Art”, my engine will say “okay”, “Painting” is a subcategory of “Art”, so I’ll include this piece of content that deals with all the best colors for painting your bathroom wall ....
Has anyone encountered this problem before? I tried searching the Internet, but without knowing the exact terminology, it is difficult to succeed.
EDIT: Briefly, “Painting” is a sub-theme of “Art”, but if something happens about “Painting”, this does not mean that it is related to “Art”, since “Art” is not the sole parent of “Painting” .
