Is it possible to create placeholder text that only appears during the layout design process in Android Studio?
For example, let's say I have 2 TextViews in a linear layout that will be dynamically populated. During the design phase, I use placeholder text to provide the fill and such a fix. I often forget to delete the placeholder text, so while loading new data, the old data will appear within a second of a second ... looks sticky.
It would be great if there was a field similar to android:placeholderText="This is placeholder text" , which will only be displayed in the preview. There is no such thing that I missed?
