I tried to get this to work for several days in a row, and it looks like one after the other. Initially, I finally tracked this so as not to wrap the ASP.NET dates in the JSON string back to the grid. Now I am using JSON.NET, and the dates are returned as they should be. I'm stuck right where I seem to be. Here is my code, returned the json string and the jqGrid code as well: (I'm sorry it took so long, but I just didn't want to leave anything if it was the part that turned me on)! Basically, I constantly linger in the ajax call success method, where I try to add JSONData .... as of now, I get a message from Firebug saying: invalid property identifier ({Total: 1, page: 1, entries: 5 , [{"ROWID": 1, "...
