Good source for lisp libraries?

Is there a PEAR type library for lisp? I hope there is, but I read somewhere that one of the drawbacks of lisp is its lack of serious libraries. It's hard for me to believe, since lisp is already half a century old.

This is the myth that the lack of libraries for CL.

I can recommend clbuild for managing your libraries.

Use cl.user.net to search for specific libraries.
