How to temporarily disable all restrictions in a table in Firebird 2.1?

I want to disable all foreign key constraints and enable them again after, is there any way to do this?

I know SQLServer allows this, but what about Firebird?

AFAICT foreign keys cannot be disabled in Firebird until 2.1.
You will have to drop them and recreate them.
There is a similar stream on Devshed.
