Interactive office: development with PIA 2003 on a machine with Office 2007

I have Office 2007 on my dev machine. I have a small application that I create for a client server with Office 2003, which should do some dialogue. My program will run as a scheduled task in a nightly batch process.

No matter what I do, I cannot find version 11.0 of the Access interaction assembly to make it work on the server.

I tried to explicitly download and install them on my machine. I tried to install the 2007 interconnect assembly on the server (the full version of Office 2007 is out of the question). I tried several different COM links. I tried to find a COM object on the server for reference in a visual studio project. And I tried too many other little things to list them all here.

What's going on here? How can I make this work?
