WCF vs ASP.Net Legacy Web Services

Possible duplicate:
Web Services - WCF vs. Standard

Can someone recommend me some docs to describe why WCF is better than older ASP.NET web services? I'm particularly interested in performance and security.

WCF is much more flexible:

  • can be used over HTTP (e.g. legacy ASMX)
  • but also: can be used through NetTCP, MSMQ, wsHttp, etc.

  • WCF services can be hosted in IIS (e.g. legacy ASMX)

  • but WCF services can also be hosted independently in a console application, Windows NT service, etc.

  • WCF , ASMX ( ..).

  • WCF , , ..

WCF - , ASMX.
