I was told that the iPhone does not support multitasking and multithreading. It didnโt make sense to me, so I tested on a simulator : pthreads works, fork () doesnโt. This result makes sense to me, but now I'm not sure: will the pthread library work on a real device too?
Thanks.
Multithreading will work. This is multitasking that will not. Iphone will not allow you to run several third-party applications at once. This reasoning makes the plug live outside the application sandbox.
