Event log application error, is the error value significant?

I have an application error in the event log and include the following information:

Report queue error: w3wp.exe application error, version 6.0.3790.3959, kernel32.dll error module, version 5.2.3790.4480, error address 0x0000bef7.

In general : is the error address useful for tracking the problem?

In particular : I found a support site in Chinese that associates the error address with open database connections. Should I start looking for code for them? if so is there a quick way to find them?
