Winmerge: how to ignore line differences with a special trailing tag

I would like to ignore the difference in lines if one of the files has a line ending in // ignore Is this possible? How will the regular expression be written for the line filter?

tried to . * // ignore $ but this does not work.

When you run a file compared to the Select Files or Folders dialog box, after selecting the Left and Right files, click Select next to the Filter field.

In the Filters dialog box, go to the Line Filters tab, create the following line filter (add)

^ // ignore

, , .
