How to allow OSGi (Config Admin) to save or reuse your configuration?

Question

I am new to OSGi. My goal is to create a structure using the config admin, so you can enter a configuration that will be reused after the server restarts.

While I read the api and tried some samples, I thought this feature would be enabled by default.

My question to you is: is this even possible, and if so: what should I consider in order to get this functionality?
