What are the arguments against using the JavaScript framework for a website development company?

Our company builds websites and web applications. We are a small company, and our development team always creates javascript functions from scratch or copies from other sites we built. Each time I bring standardization of a word to a table and use a JS structure such as JQuery, Prototype or any other, I am told that Frameworks has three points below as arguments against them:

  • Mostly for people who don’t know enough JS
  • Platform Limitations Javascript Developers
  • The framework inflates real development code with a lot of things that aren't used.
  • We do not use enough Javascript in our applications so that we need the JS infrastructure

In my opinion, it seems that Frameworks give our team a good starting point, documentation, community and always the opportunity to grow on top of the framework. Can some users of the Framework continue to develop?

EDIT 1:

Thank you all for your wonderful answers. I really didn’t think it would be such a hot topic. I'm glad I asked a question. I added another similar question in the following link if you think you want to add something. The topic for the new question is CSS . Thanks.

I am using jquery now, and, frankly, within an hour of training, he realized that he is well suited for this work, if he did not exist, I would eventually reorient something very similar to myself, only that would not as good or as a cross platform.

There are not many bells and whistles, it is very small and well designed and does nothing that prevents you from writing any javascript that you want for specific cases that do not meet your needs.
