SQL database lookup column ignoring special characters

Does anyone know if it is possible to perform a% LIKE% column search in a SQL Server database, but make it ignore any special characters in the column?

So, for example, if I have a column called "songs" and they contain the following ...

Black or white

No sleep "to Brooklyn

Ship song

Dad doesn't preach

If the user searches β€œno tears to Brooklyn”, I would like him to return the match, even if they forgot to turn on the apostrophe. I would also like to return the 4th line if they look for "SOUL". I'm sure you have an idea ...

Any help would be really appreciated.
