With the upcoming release of Visual Studio 2010 and all the great new features in C # 4.0, I would really like to be updated from 2008. However, over the past few years I have managed to get student prices or even free versions through the MSDN Academic Alliance.
Now I am no longer a student.
I can not justify the $ AU500 pricetag even the standard version for what is currently, in fact, a hobby. As far as I think, this is simply not paying bills.
So, I read on the Microsoft website that Express Express EULA does not have a nonprofit reservation, which is good, because I sometimes do a small amount of paid work. How much is missing in the Express version, although compared to Professional (what am I currently using and what is the 2010 beta)? Can I, if you achieve something that simply is not?
As for the add-ons, the only one I really played with is VisualSVN, and I can live using TortoiseSVN manually. What else should I know?
