Version of the application for updating the iPhone (in settings)

I have an iPhone app that displays the current version as a settings constant (like Skype does).

When I released the first version of the application, I use this code to set the application settings:

And it worked fine and dandy.

The problem that I am facing right now is that if you update the application, these default values โ€‹โ€‹(settings) are not overwritten, so the version of the application is not updated.

How can I get certain settings to be installed on every installation?

NSString *version = [[NSBundle mainBundle] objectForInfoDictionaryKey:@"CFBundleVersion"]];

Thus, you do not need to update the settings file for each version. If you want to compare the existing and the new version of the installation. You can write the version number to a file at startup and compare the catalog version with the launch version.
