I am trying to run the NSIS installer for my game in order to register the game in the game explorer in Vista / Win7. In all other respects, my installer works fine - but it was difficult for me to determine the “right” way to integrate with the game explorer. In my search, I found the following resources:
I have completed game tasks (my .EXE has built-in GDF resources), but the work of the installer disappoints me. It seems that by this time there should be a fairly honed approach, but none of them feel like "this." Has anyone had experience with this?
