If an application creates a lot of memory leaks, are they βjustβ a problem in the application, or are they also in RAM after the application terminates? So, iPhone OS frees up memory allocated for a stand-alone application?
thanks
Memory leaks are memory blocks allocated by the operating system for use by your program during its operation, but not correctly returned as not used when the program ended with them. So this memory is "lost." Your program does not use it, but the system does not yet know that it is free for other use.
