Why (or shouldn't) write my new website in HTML 5 and CSS3?

I am currently developing the website as a personal project. I usually quickly implement new technologies, although IE sometimes gets hurt. However, this makes me worried, because the speed of decision-making for current browsers is spotty even in the most modern areas such as Firefox, Opera and Safari.

Could you accept HTML 5 / CSS 3 for your site and why? Can you point out any subtle flaws in using these new technologies?

I will consider using HTML5 / CSS3 when the time is right. That's not all.
