WSMQ Queue Limit

Is there a limit on the number of queues that I can open in one connection and one session? Currently, I can open 128 queues and send them messages. If I try to open 129, I get the following error ...

This is controlled by the queue manager MAXHANDS.

The default value is 256. Depending on how you access the queues, classes can open each of them twice, which leads to 128 open queues.

You can display the queue handles in runmqsc with the command DIS QSTATUS.
