The Magento Guest Verification option is not displayed, regardless of

I am having a weird problem with my new magento installation. There is no option to check guests, even if I have Disable Onepage Checkout: no, and allow guest check: YES.

Ive looked at core_config_data in db and did not find anything that could provoke this behavior. I have no template settings and cache is disabled ... I installed the last magento via the ssh command line and included a sample data. I installed another copy of magento on my local computer (without test data) and it works fine. Perhaps this has something to do with sample data?

Im at a loss here ... Anyone ideas ???

I also had a problem, I could see the Guest parameter again when I deleted the cookie with the name persistent_shopping_cart

For me, the problem is with the configuration of the downloadable product. Check settings> catalog> downloadable product.
