How many maximum connections can an oracle handle?

The maximum number of connections supported by MySQL depends on the quality of the thread library on this platform, the amount of RAM available for each connection, the workload from each connection and the required response time, Linux or Solaris must support 500-1000 simultaneous connections at the same time and up to 10000 connections, if you have a lot of available gigabytes of RAM, and each of them has a low workload or no response time is required. Windows is limited (open tables × 2 + open connections) to 2048 due to the compatibility level of Posix used on this platform.
