I am using a Windows Forms control TreeViewin my program. I would like to allow the user to select multiple nodes at the same level by dragging the mouse around (also called the “lasso” selection). I do not think the standard TreeViewallows this.
My question is, what would be the best way to achieve this? Should I write my own selection behavior, possibly in a user or derived control? Where to begin?
I do not need a detailed explanation. Just a little push in the right direction.
