What is a Yahoo openid endpoint

It used to be http://yahoo.com , but for me it doesn’t work with DiscoveryFailure in the python OpenID library (since today I haven’t tested this before). Also, this fails if you are trying to use the SO login with the yahoo button, so I think this has probably changed recently.

I noticed that this was a few hours ago. It does not work on any RP that I tried ... except for zoho.com

I looked at their source and saw that they are using https://me.yahoo.com , which works.

Yahoo even made a mistake at a recent site change or forgot to tell anyone (including itself). http://openid.yahoo.com/ still says use "yahoo.com" as your openid.

The problem arises only on some yahoo servers - looking for IP addresses for yahoo.com, and during YADIS resolution some of them will work and some will not. Therefore, why it works in some places and not in others.

In Yahoo ( http://developer.yahoo.com/forum/OpenID-General-Discussion/http-www-yahoo-com-returns-404-depending-on-headers-/1329169111466-34212409-d649-4154-8dd6- a19e04a6d02d ), it seems their suggestion is to use https://me.yahoo.com/ instead
