Flickr api vs Picasa api

I am creating an application in which users can upload photos. All I need to do is upload a custom photo and manage the title, description, tags and spatial data for kml. The ability to download videos will be enjoyable.

These snapshots will be used as part of the Google Maps custom application.

I'm more interested in the efficiency of apis compared to which service is better, as long as the above requirements are met.

I read that the Flickr api is excellent, but I am looking for first-hand information from those who have worked with both apis.

Another option is, of course, managing this data inside the application.

I work with .net and jquery.

Thanks!

I decided to go with Picasa, simply because I already use api-goolge from Youtube. In addition, Picasa makes it easy to integrate with Google maps - all I need to do is add an overlay of the rss file to the GeoRss album in the album.
