Php <? tags on WAMP

I just installed WAMP and I cannot get my <?work. Is there a module that I need to enable?

You need short_open_tags to include the <?open tag . But I recommend that you do not use them, but use a standard open tag <?phpfor compatibility and portability reasons.

  • Open the php.ini file.
  • Set line: short_open_tags = 1
  • Update Apache.
  • As stated above, this is not recommended, but if you are just exploring and creating sample applications that are valid.
