How to make CakePHP redirect to another action / controller?

My situation:

The user is provided with a table or list of items. Next to each item, they can click the check box to select it, and at the bottom there is a selection box that says "With the selected items ..." and things like "delete", "go to the project", "download" and etc. You know the deal - mass operations. Some of the operations will be performed immediately and do not require their own presentation, but others will need an intermediate view (for example: "Move them to which project?").

Since each of the individual operations is processed by a different action (and, possibly, by a different controller), but the forms can only send to one address, I need an action that will take the published data and send it to the appropriate place.

Using redirect()will also not work, as in the near future it will be AJAX'd.

Basically, I just need an action that will delegate to another controller / action, as if it were the original request: saving mail data, displaying this view, etc.

Any ideas?

I managed to figure it out with the help of the dispatcher.
