Work with Git and SVN at the same time

Question

I am in a competition for free software, and we should use a forge that uses GForge, only with SVN support, but I would like to use Git (using gitorious), for example.

Is there an easy way to get two repositories (one from SVN and the other from Git), updated more or less at the same time?

This will remain a two-step operation, but some script like git2svn can help you quickly update your svn as soon as you pushed your commit to a gitorious Git repo.
