Django and Buildout work, but what about PIL and Postgres?

I am on Mac OSX 10.5.8. I followed an article by Jacob Kaplan-Moss about creating Django with Buildout: http://jacobian.org/writing/django-apps-with-buildout/

Finally, I have this Buildout to work! ... but now I need PIL and Postgres for a complete isolated Django development area. I tried to modify my buildout.cfg file with tutorials that I read on the Internet, but I just can’t find how to do this without throwing out all kinds of errors. I feel that PIL and Postgres are the following things to complete this little setup, so I can just handle it ... (I'm, by the way, not a specialist in this, I come from the background of PHP). My current buildout.cfg looks like this:

[buildout]
parts = python django
develop = .
eggs = myproject

[python]
recipe = zc.recipe.egg
interpreter = python
eggs = ${buildout:eggs}

[django]
recipe = djangorecipe
version = 1.1.1
project = myproject
projectegg = myproject
settings = testsettings
test = myproject
eggs = ${buildout:eggs}
